Introduction to Committees

Provides support, guidance, and overall organizational insight to LAACHA Committees.

Develops and expands member capacities, both individual and organizational, through training, shared learning, & resource development.

Identifies, supports and promotes emerging community informed processes & practices that positively impact older adult health & wellbeing.

Ensures that older adults and caregivers have access  to technology and are part of digital inclusion spaces.

Reduces disparities and improves older adult health outcomes across racial/ethnic groups through outcome identification, tracking, and reporting.

In partnership with local state, and national experts, facilitates and/or coordinates the development, implementation, and evaluation of Racial Justice capacity development opportunities. 

Brings together relevant cross-sector partners to review the various forms of older adult abuse, discusses approaches for successful implementation of strategies for advancing system wide policies and removal of barriers to timely access and age friendly services for older victim-survivors of domestic abuse.
